Overview

Qatar Tourisme, for a tour through Qatar National Library, situated in Education City, and home to over a million books. You will have the chance to explore the entirety of the library, witness the bookshelves which rise out of the floor as part of the building itself and visit an underground complex that houses ancient historical and religious texts. The library is also a feat of modern architecture, designed by world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas to resemble two pieces of paper that are pulled apart and folded diagonally at the corners to create a shell-like structure.
